Author Topic: Ripped of from Gamestop... AGAIN Part II (the bullstuffing continues)  (Read 1724 times)

I saw this coming from a mile of away. I used a gift card to purchase a DLC for Black ops and they never gave me a code back, last time I used online they gave me my code right away but it's been an hour and nothing. I knew it was going to happen. I can't buy anything now because they took all of my money away. loving asses.

You could, you know, sue them?

It's sunday. People dont usually work on sundays...

sue a company over a 15 dollar dlc pack, yes

oh yeah. So my order might take longer to come in. Ok then, that must be why

sue a company over a 15 dollar dlc pack, yes

I would sue them even if it was $1.

your first problem is buying a $15 map pack

your second is buying from gamestop

I would sue them even if it was $1.
you know it cost money to sue right

I would sue them even if it was $1.
In America you can't sue for dollar amounts under $20. Also, that value was set when $20 was closer to $1,000 in value.

>Gamestop
>Gift Card
>Black Ops DLC

It's clearly obvious you would get ripped from that

Ugh, speaking of gamestop. I buy a new hunting game, cabelas hunting expeditions, it looked decent enough. I get home, put the game in and play it for about 10 minutes before quitting because it's such a terrible game. Take it to gamestop the next day, less than 12 hours from when I bought it. Apparently you can't take back new games, it's not like it was still in plastic when I got it, because they take the games out of the cases. I brought it back in the exact condition probably about 10 hours from when I bought it, and the guy tells me I'd get $5 for it trade in value. Luckily it wasn't a $60 game, only $40, but it's still really infuriating.
