Unlimited Ammo

Hey guys!
This is a question for those of you who have played and did this trick before (Mostly those involved with the WHK40, Tier Tactical set, etc.)

I've noticed that in some servers, there is no need for ammunition. You can shoot as many times as you want, and you won't run out. It doesn't even show you the HUD for how much ammo you have left or what type of ammo you need.

I would like to know the secret of this so-called trick. Is there coding involved? Maybe an Add-on event that is used in this?
An answer is greatly appreciated

I know how to edit it in server preferences, but every single time that I put a digit higher then what the gun can take in, it the previous amount stays the same. Im looking for a way to make it UNLIMITED ammo.

If you're talking about tier+tactical you need to set the "ammo system" preference to a number between 0, 1, or 2. Each one is supposed to be a different setting, with 0 being limited ammo/reloading, 1 being reloading but infinite ammo, and 2 being no ammo and no reloading. However it's also broken right now and I may have gotten the numbers backwards.

Or you can just use add-ons that don't have a sloppy state reloading system tacked onto them.
