The first time is the physical. The second time is when you ship. If she had been the second time, she'd be in now.

Kind of depends on what you do in a given day. I had to go to MEPS this time on 3 different days, I did the ASVAB, physical, and enlistment all on different days. But yes DEP means she has finished meps the first series or w/e you would call it and she has a date for boot camp and is waiting to go to boot camp. I am basically in DEP for the army even though I am fully enlisted and have a ship date.

Dep does not mean enlisted unless you are Guard or Reserve, Guard uses your DEP date as your enlistment term for contracts but it still dont mean stuff.

It is not that we think we are better its the fact that soo many people seem to have it in their head they have any idea, or they think DEP means naturally theyre in so they take credit for the things they arent apart of.
