That's the impression I get from you two.

Not at all. Stocking on the other hand...  eh.

Otis got like 4 bachelor degrees so he'll be an officer and then even the almighty bones will have to call him sir, or master, whichever is preferred.

I dont salute pilots

I dont salute pilots
oh wow I was starting to respect you a little.

Is that the edgy thing to do?

He meant he doesn't just salute them, he grovels before them.

Shh, guys if we stay quiet maybe it will leave.

No I work with them all daily so I know them and they yell for saluting them. I work on the flightline so we dont salute since it is a no hat area.

ok so since there are airforce people here
I would like to ask to be totally sure. I have terrible eyesight
so, even if I got corrective surgery to make it 20/20, I still wouldn't be able to pilot a fighter jet, right?

Fighter, no. Anything else, yeah.

Fighter, no. Anything else, yeah.
what's the reason for that?

Don't remember. It's just how it is.

I believe you can still be a Marine or Navy Aviator if you get LAISK Night Fox. You will have to sign a LASIK waiver. You will either be assigned to the AH-1Z Viper, F-18 Hornet, the aging Harrier, and hopefully to be canned F-35(as of 2015) if you go into the USMC. The Navy flies F-18 Hornet as it's fighter, the F-14 Tomcat was phased out in 2007.

My suggestion is to go talk to your nearest navy or marine recruiter and ask what their policy is. Also start training and swimming.

Super Hornet, Harrier, F-35 or else you are flying these

also there is a lot of controversy and problems with the F-35, so it may or may not come into service.
