EDITED

Fix vehicle physics.
We need more hats and stuff for our avatar.
Water can make things buoyant - Fakekilled bricks that fall on water and float realistically.
Some complaints over this one - Ability to switch versions.
Lets get something cool just like last year we had shaders!

None of this will happen except for maybe performance improvements and possibly better vehicle physics.

Ability to switch from current version to pre-v20.
nah

Ads - might not be the best idea for Blockland to get heard though.
wait
as in ads for blockland
or ads in blockland

i'm pretty sure there are already ads for blockland, and ads in blockland wouldn't really make sense

Blockland needs a new engine.
not going to happen

Fix shaders for low performance computers.
i don't think much more can be done, really

Make vehicle physics less glitchy - cars will fling about and noclip when falling from large distances.
this is a good idea

vehicles being less glitchy sounds good :)

"blockland needs a new engine"

"fix shaders"

make up your goddamn mind

also recreating a game that's been in development for almost 10 years in a different engine is a hell of a lot more effort than it's worth. Blockland is a building game, it does everything it needs to do.

Blockland needs a new engine.
Never gonna happen. Torque3D is good enough anyway.

does this even run on Torque3D?

does this even run on Torque3D?
no?

i'm pretty sure blockland doesn't run on torque3d

That's what I thought. Torque3D is the version after TGEA, and Blockland's been running on pre-TGEA since forever.

It's heavily modified anyway.

Right now I am pretty sure baddy is working on the port for steam.

It'd be cool, but it'll never happen

If you mean ads on the internet, we already have those

Not really

This should be done, but haven't they tried before?

This NEEDS to be done

Thats all got!

That being said, I'm 99% sure the next update will just me minor bug fixes and stuff like that.

>Implying we will have an update soon.

Plus none of these threads actually do anything towards getting Baddy to fix stuff. He gets around to it when he decides to.

That being said, I'm 99% sure the next update will just me minor bug fixes and stuff like that.
Nah I'm sure the next update will be Steam integration.

I'm going to wager $5.00e+10-7 that Blockland will use the same 20-year-old game engine in 2019.
And the farther in the future we go, the more different the Torque 3D engine gets from the current one.
So that further reduces the likelihood of any radical game engine changes.

I think improved shaders performance is most likely to be the next update, as well as more additional Steam features.
