Why am I getting emails from Forums?

Despite I have all of these boxes unchecked, I still get replies and personal messages from Forums on my Gmail.



Can anyone help me with this?

Are you 100% sure they are from the forums? Have you triple checked the address they were sent from?

I know right most of the time people on the forums are really helpfull and dont make stupid coments


have you tried checking them all or maybe deleting your email?

Deleting the email would be too large for some dumb emails.

Well you could try enabling all notifications. Wait five minutes and then disable them. Maybe your changes weren't saved to the database or something.

Alright, I tried it out. I am just going to wait if any emails come or not.

In gmail, report one of the messages as Spam. It will ask you if you want to Unsubscribe. Say yes.
NOTE: Once you do this, you will not receive messages even if you re-enable.

It only asks you if you want to unsubscribe if gmail detects there is an unsubscribe link (which are usually found somewhere near the bottom in fine print) in the email.
If there isn't one, it literally just gets marked as spam like other emails. This would probably happen for the BL emails considering they aren't subscriptions but notifications.
