so i kinda forgeted up in not taking a language in high school the first two years because i think most everywhere it's a required three years
but either way i need look into learning something
spanish may be common but it honestly doesn't interest me and i don't feel like i'll have a whole lot of use for it, i'm not going to spend a whole lot of time learning a language i'm not interested in anyways
french i've actually heard at least two dozen people say they hate more than getting thrown in a hole (because of the teachers, not the language) so i'm not even considering that
there's some others like latin and german but i
really don't see the use of those
which leaves japanese
i have several relatives on my mothers side who are japanese, i myself am a quarter japanese. the language seems interesting enough and it's honestly the most interesting out the available ones at my school
thing is it also looks a little complicated and if i get frustrated with it part way through i won't be able to just switch over
not really. knowing a language is only as useful as its needed.
japanese is very far from needed in the world.
why do you care so much about what other people are doing with their lives? how is it going to affect you if people learn japanese? does it look like you're getting anywhere trying to push the point that all people that are interested in japanese culture are terrible, awful people, bent-on-world-destruction? at this point you're only still posting in this thread because you think you either think it's funny or are actually trying to change our minds, and if it's by insulting us, it isn't going to work. knock it off.
