Author Topic: Arizona is perfect.  (Read 3179 times)

I envy all of you who live on the west side of the United States. I've been chilling in Arizona for almost a month now and it has been quite a great time. Traveled across the entire country to get here and I completely forgot how amazing this place is. Also, the Riverside Casino on the Colorado River that's bordering Nevada to Arizona, oh my god. The buffets are wonderful. I ate at the buffet four times and stuffed myself sick. Best days ever.

I posted a topic a while back about my trip across the US and I promised I'd take photos, and I have, but not many. So I'll be taking a bunch on my way back starting Tuesday and I'll see if I can post them here. :p

I never did get to visit downtown Phoenix, though. I went to Phoenix and met a bunch of my cousins, but not the actual downtown Phoenix. :(

I might (just maybe) be going through Utah on my way back, so I'll try and get photos of that if I do. But I probably won't. :c

I found a massive spider in my grandmother's house tonight (where I'm staying at) and it was bigger than my whole palm. Quite frankly, I did not care. I took it outside, freed it, and took photos of it. Personally, the risk of scorpions, rattle snakes, and deadly spiders is way better than stepping outside and getting swarmed by 99999999 loving mosquitoes and dealing with horrible humidity on hot days.

Anyway, I'll try to keep this topic updated. :)

I went to Arizona in the summer holidays (2012). It was a 9 hour flight but it was worth it, Las vegas, Death valley. Phoenix was boiling hot! 42c!

I hope you have a great time!

The fall weather is the best. Not too hot, not too cold :)

I wanted to visit Las Vegas and Los Angeles, but the farthest I got was Laughlin, Nevada (The Riverside Casino). :(

And I am. Palm trees are everywhereeeee. <3333

O: I think I was in Tucson.

Pretty sure.. I forgot. :p

I know I've been to Flagstaff though. Right now I'm in Kingman.

Did you guys go to the Grand Canyon?

Did you guys go to the Grand Canyon?

We were planning on it. Not so sure that we are anymore, though. :l

It's why so many seniors retire in Arizona, mainly in the outskirt cities of Phoenix. I used to have family in Tucson, and in Scottsdale.

100+ degree weather every summer doesn't sound perfect to me.

Aw come on, it could be worse....Like 100+ degree weather with 100% humidity.

I was born in Chandler, AZ. Lived in Tempe for 11 years.
Main downside is all the crime in AZ, and the state reps are particularly stuffheads

So many memories

I love the Buffets n' stuff at the riverside.
