Does this drama really deserve this many posts/pages
3/4 of the comments are "haha hamer is such a friend 10/10 drama get revoked nooob"
I get that this is a big deal, DoS attacks on RTB should be seen as a big deal, however the proof on both sides is really foggy, and until there is actual proof for either side, really neither person should be seen as guilty in my own opinion.
Ephi is a nice guy and personally I haven't had any bad run-ins with him, and I can say the same for hammer. They both offer server services. One's a mod with a lot of experience, the other, not so much.

Until there is solid, concrete evidence that points out that Hammer did or did not in fact DoS RTB, maybe... MAYBE wait before the entire forum explodes on him?

The entire situation in general is quite foggy. On one hand, I seriously wouldn't put it past hammer to do this, but I also have my doubts that he would be stupid enough to do it with his own IP. Then again, what does he know about DoSing?

And regarding the theory that Ephialtes framed him, he has no motive to. Literally none whatsoever. There's no reason that he would go through all the trouble to spoof hammer's IP address and then DoS himself. His actions might be questionable sometimes but come on, he wouldn't jeopardize his own service under any circumstances, especially these.

It is however entirely possible that it was malware. There are countless people out there with the skills to create a program to DoS rtb's servers and I don't think I need to explain what their motives might be.

So is he guilty? I have no idea. There isn't enough evidence on either side of the case. But if I had to take a wild (somewhat educated) guess, I'd say he did it without thinking through the consequences whatsoever.

Before addressing your comment: OUR traditions? I've been on these forums for almost three years, are you seriously going to speak on behalf of anywhere from 100 to 10,000 people?
I typically try and avoid drama since it's the only place I ever get banned in.
I don't have anything against drama. I think it's a great way to point out trolls/abusive admins
I DON'T think that it should be used to fill 12 pages with "LOLOL OP is so rite, dis gui is gaye, will ban, 10/9 drama OP, keep up d gud work"
