I'm not going to distrbute computer viruses on the forums. It's against the rules.

You are allowed to PM it to me because I said it's fine, if I get infected then it's my fault. Now hand the file over.

Honestly I start to doubt my own sanity when I talk to this guy.

the word "still" was used as a past tense lol
I changed my blame to a network attack.
So Ephialtes is either not understanding my point, or even more likely, refusing to understand it to protect his reputation.

Honestly, I start to doubt why I am arguing with this guy when I explained why
You still blamed malware regardless of what it turned out to be.

...this is not correct.

Yeah I have to be insane now. Clearly you're making complete sense and I'm pretending not to understand because in some way that's going to protect my reputation for some reason and yeah, gotcha.

Totally failing to understand a very simple sentence so it's time to bust out the conspiracy theories. You're an utter mess.

Like, how does this not make sense to you? I feel like we need a drawing or a diagram of some sort.

1. You don't know what happened, you blame malware.
2. You find out what happened, you blame a network attack.

#2 does not erase #1 from existence. You still jumped to a malware conclusion initially simply because you had no idea what was going on and didn't want to appear totally incompetent and clueless.

I understand now. The statement 'Even though you eventually blamed it on the network, you still blamed it. on malware before you knew what it even was' makes a lot more sense.

I said before that I will have more time to deal with this tomorrow.

I didn't even scan anything yet. How do I know where the malware is located?

And how exactly did you come to the conclusion that it was malware at first? Shouldn't you have, I don't know, scanned before and actually made sure it was malware before saying it was?

I'm not at my computer right now.
