Any way to boost fps in wine?

Is there any good way to boost fps in wine in linux mint 13?
I'm running a 32-bit OS.
Specs:
Gateway M-6309
Intel Graphics (don't hate please)
GNOME desktop flavor
I know the old draw distance and quality settings trick in blockland, but is there any non-obvious way to boost fps? Please help.

you might be low on ram or something

There is no magic solution to your problem.

You need to either use

a. A lighter DE
b. better graphics processor
