It's that kind of thing where it sound like you're kind of bending the sound down. I don't know any other information other than the symbol is a little squiggly line going downwards. I don't know any other place to ask, so I just came here.

found the page for the picture clone posted, that picture refers to a type of note called a glissando

it just means to play a few notes going down the scale starting with the note, like as quick as possible or something. super easy if you play a trombone, bc you just push the slide out real quick
