I just don't want independent in here because EVERYONE picks it in the polls I've seen. I want to know what people agree more with, not that they don't agree with everything 100%. Independent doesn't give any interesting information.

Don't be too much of a pusillanimous individual to pick a side.

both parties are the exact same. they always vote for stuff the same, they both have liberals and conservatives.
they even take the same money from the same lobbyists, and the politicians retire from both sides to become CEOs of the same companies together.

the 2 parties are a joke. anyone who still believes there is a difference isnt all that bright.

Wow, no independent?
NVM read a few posts. Im more of an independent that leans towards the right. You follow me? At this point in time, its not "Doho republics or democrats are better!" Everyone is going through an idiot phase. Anyone that is not a career politician is alright with me.

I think Chris Christie would be a good president, though. you hear a lot about what he has done for New Jersey, and he seems like a nice guy.

and only fools call themselves liberal or conservative. a proper citizen would have a balance of both types depending on the issue.
It's true that most people take different stances on different things, and most people have a range of views, but it's also fine for someone to say which side they relate with in general.

There's a lot of pigeon-holing when it comes to the 'political spectrum', but it's possible to pick-and-mix different views generally connected with different parties, while still saying that you mostly agree with one party or political wing in general.

There are all sorts of views and concepts that are traditionally right-wing that I don't agree with. But on the whole I am happy to say I'm more of a conservative than a liberal.

Also, did anyone else note that the OP spelt 'Conversative' rather than 'Conservative' in the title?

I've always been an Independent. Politics are so forgeted up because how polarized people have become.

i'd say i'm more conservative.

the 2 parties are a joke. anyone who still believes there is a difference isnt all that bright.
Too true.  Exactly why the Plethora Party will one day have an isolationist Libertarian coup de'tat in Venezuela.  There I will be the benevolent guardian of the economy, a role which will have only the power to not do things.  After all, only those who can do better have a right to complain.

I do think having Liberal/Conservative in the poll is good though, independent is too umbrella.  Should have more parties though.  Include the nuts from the far reaches of the spectrum.

I think my personal beliefs have essentially been summed up in that.

I'm mostly liberal and democrat, but I'm completely against gun control.

Libertarian I guess, but you didn't make this for the entire spectrum so conservative.
