Author Topic: Netendo unveils wii mini  (Read 2950 times)

Netendo announced the wii but a smaller size, its going to cost 99.99$. It has no internet and its pretty much like a gamecube

I think its kinda a waste of money but a cheaper alternative

Portable console!
Why the forget do we need this

Wii Mini does not have gamecube support, unlike the Wii.
Therefore it makes sense to pay less if you own a gamecube.

>lacks gamecube and wifi support

giant waste of money

I think it's a cool system, but terribly unoriginal. What is happening to Nintendo? They seriously need ideas. Also will this be able to run Wii U games, too?

No. It's a smaller wii with no wifi capability or ability to play GameCube games

Protip: this system redesign isn't for people like us

I understand removing the Gamecube functionality, but WiFi is a must for any modern console. Bad move.

Well, this is a sad sight. What is the point of it then? I could probably get a new regular Wii for about $100.

this was on their site for weeks why are people noticing it now..

It's like how the PS2 Slim was for Sony -
Late and basically useless except for costing slightly less money.
