Author Topic: Damaged my laptop through a fall.  (Read 3379 times)

As I was getting up from my couch to get a charger, I knocked my laptop to my house's laminant floor. Luckily my screen did not crack however a piece of my laptop chipped off. Some clips that hold the laptop together also broke so you can bend the part with the keyboard from the bottom of the laptop.

Well, I will never put my laptop on a coffee table again.

A large part of the laptop broke off.
Also did you drop it, or how did the piece break off?

ok. isn't that just a piece of plastic? it still works, doesn't it?

Doesn't look like you damaged anything but the case.
Superglue that piece back on and all will be fine.

I'm worried about damaging any components, but I thought about it so I'll probably do that.
