Author Topic: I can legally get my license now.  (Read 1567 times)

I just finished my 40 hours of driving instruction last night.  Now that Missouri's GDL is out of the way, I can just take the driving test (might need to re-take the written test) and I'm good to go.

what are you waiting for go get it

Its 12:12 AM over here, it might be too late maybe

You actually kept track of your 40 hours? What a nerd. I just got my permit, drove around with my parents for 6 months, took a joke of a drivers test at my school. Then I got that sweet sweet license yo.

i've had my license for a good 4 months now and haven't really driven much

I still remember a question on my computer test.

when there is an incoming train to an intersection without cross guards.
you...

a) stop before the tracks, behind the train warning sign.

b) continue to cross, the train will yield to me.

c) stop at the tracks.

Good luck. I hate parallel parking lol.

b) continue to cross, the train will yield to me.

it's safe to play chicken with trains and trucks, right?

The computer tests are the biggest joke lol, they might as well not have them.
You don't need any road knowledge to pass it, just as long as you are smart enough to choose the option that isn't pants on butt handicapped.
A car is approaching you fast from behind, do you
A) let the car overtake you
B) slam on your brakes 4laffs
C) cut your brakes and drive into oncoming traffic

Missouri's GDL (Graduated Driver's Law) required 40 logged hours minimum to drive, with at least 10 hours of night driving.  My dad says I need to work on parking before taking the test, though.  I've only parallel parked like two times ever, and backed into  a space the first time I ever drove.  Any other times, I only pulled in forwards.

the driving test here is ridiculously easy. like we literally just drove around the block and then parallel parked and he was like "you passed :)"

Lol I'll bet most of you didn't take the driving test in a vehicle this big though.

The car that I've driven for like 37 of those hours.

do you not have any other vehicles or what

that thing's probably terrible for gas mileage if you're just going to be driving alone in it to places

As opposed to getting it illegally?
