Author Topic: Detailed Tree Bricks WIP  (Read 5818 times)

yeah

elm most likley got someone else to make these models for him
everyone who knows where to look has them anyway
i doubt things will be made any worse by this being released after the way elm acted towards other people who asked to have it like all elm's friends

Because he paid phydeoux (I hope I spelled that right) $15 to get them
wow
ill update the credits

Would you like the archive being called item_random?
what

what
I'm saying that whoever exported the files from cache.db has called the archive like that because he wanted to. It could be anything.

Maybe if you read a bit more down on the page you would see it clearly says 'wip'

...yes

it's a work in progress because of that problem, remember?

Ask siba, he's made bricks and stuff

why is it called brick_elms, then?

Because I couldn't think of a good naming convention when I first packaged them. Ephialtes posted an older version of the Land of Blocks brick pack.

PMed him, said he could not help.

I have a distinct feeling that using Notepad++ to quickly replace colors with another color (by using find and replace) breaks the .blb somehow. I'll try doing it manually with a clean unedited large palm. (it's actually medium in the mod ter decor pack)

Also the large pine seems TOO large. I might see if the smaller one in the mod ter decor pack is better and still larger than the LOB pine tree.

I fixed the large palm tree! The link in the OP should now lead to the updated file. Now the only thing I need to truly worry about is how some of the mod-ter trees are off-center. I want the brick's bounding box to be that of the tree trunk. so the players would collide with the trunk but not the leaves.

I paid for all my custom bricks for Land of Blocks. I did not give out any of the bricks but instead had them taken from me by eepos, using a method I'd rather not say. Basically, any model in any server you go to, you can take and package up and put on your own server.

I'd rather them not be released, but it's too late for that, so oh well.

I don't understand why Ephialtes hates private add-ons so much, and if he really does, why is it a feature of RTB?

why would you pay for an add-on anyway

i dont see this concept

i dont see this concept
ensures quality and priority, as well as guarantees it gets done. also allows for private add-on creation. posting in S&r "oh i need some bricks and stuff, someone make them and give them only to me" won't go far

Because he has a devious plan to release all of the good ones.
