Author Topic: YouTube overhauls comments and links them to Google+  (Read 29441 times)

Google knows that just moving to a new service isn't as easy as it sounds; for uploaders, you need to download and reupload all your videos, and for subscribers, there are more uploaders using YouTube since everyone knows about YouTube. They know that they get to do whatever the forget they want because the internet isn't smart enough to collectively move to a new place. We just go where everyone else already is because it's most convenient for us.

CHANGE IS NECESSARY
WE MUST MIGRATE
or alternatively
let's steal youtube

Google in a nutshell:
"Hey I have those cool ideas for updates that we could use for youtube what do you think?"

"Are you loving kidding me? Nobody wants good useful stuff anymore, let's shove down their throats more useless and confusing stuff so we get more money like this, also google+!!1"

THEY ADDED loving HASHTAGS!

IS THIS LIKE TWITTERTUBE!?

Hashtags. Pound signs are a different thing entirely.

On a related note, I already had a Google+ account that I used because all my friends had Google+, so I thought I could link that to my Youtube account but noooo it makes a new Google+ account for my Youtube channel. Now I am constantly alternating between the two accounts and can't combine them in any way.

Hashtags? Where?

add a pound sign then type something in, click what appears in the gray box.

Apparently youtube added subscript so you can cross out things like this bold and do this in the comments

i dont know how though
