In addition, I had the lovely opportunity of terrifying some local youngsters, who all seemed to recognize me as the Slender Man. The video is linked below. I am 6'5'' tall, and the suit is custom tailored for my size. Needless to say, the Seattle area was creeped out to no end. I had one other opportunity at an excellent scare at the local middle school. In the back, there is a sizable soccer field with a track around it, and large yellow street lamps every couple hundred feet or so on the far side. As I approached the field, I heard a group of kids who must have been hanging out in the middle of the field (a common thing to do around the area). As subtly as I could, I gradually positioned myself under one of the dim orange lights, and began to wait. In my silence, I was able to pick up some of their conversation..."Guys, it's...it's slenderman". Among other mumblings, the group was clearly uncomfortable. Much to my dismay, they quickly left the field shortly after I arrived, but the good part of that scenario is that I was likely the one to make them leave. Success! Thanks for your consideration, you're most likely getting plenty of submissions. Know that my efforts as the Slender have come from a true appreciation for the mysticism and eery folklore of the Slender Man. As a trained actor, I maintained character the entire night, and I only wish that you had been there to see the performance. It was spectacular.Best wishes,-Carson BeckThe video: http://youtu.be/auIKtscv39Y
