i made a song for once in like the first month and a half.

Sneak preview, prolly gonna change a few things (including maybe the name). Stay till 3:15 for electric guitars: http://soundcloud.com/lloid-1/attempt/s-voWWy

Also think I'm gonna try to submit this one to to DrumNBass.net, so we'll see how that goes.

Finished, and submitted to DrumNBass.net! Wish me luck!

does anybody else hate it when you record a song and you're like "oh yeah this sounds pretty good I think it's about ready" and then you unplug your headphones and listen to it on like your laptop speakers or whatever and find out that it sounds terrible and you have to do a ton of mastering still

I hate that.

I like the stuff you make, you're great at this.
If you guys could give me some feedback on this it would be great - this is the first song I've completed and released.

the whole song's kinda quiet, but the drums seem a lot louder than the rest of the track. Other than that, it's okay. It doesn't really have much for structure or anything though, it's pretty repetitive imho.

Wow thanks for the comment, that's actually really encouraging.

And yeaaah, happens all the time, I've spent hours mastering then I unplug my headphones and it sounds like trash.

this is a weird question but:
do your friends/family know you make/cover music? for some reason i feel like thats a sheltered thing idk why

what do you guys use to make your album art?

no, my whole family knows I produce and DJ, but I will admit it's something I usually shelter from others. I have no clue why.

the noise has taken over

even the spectogram in famitracker looks chaotic when it plays this

Also, the bassline!
