Author Topic: Hijacked Keys?  (Read 5659 times)

I got news that i had logged in 2-4 hours ago, reported by The Brighter Dark, that i had joined his server and told him i had quit the SCP development team for blockland, yet i was never on blockland today.

This leads me to believe someone acquired my key, and abused it for stupid use. Is there a way i can track ip's with my own key?

Oddly enough, Xalo's did the same thing on brights server before my impostor flipped.

Know anyone who has the capability to do so?

The only people I can think of doing this are the likes of Lando, MARBLE MAN, and Dotdot. But those are all just wild guesses.

This is why we need a web control panel for our keys. This way we know who has used our key, what their ip is, and when they used it. Badspot knows this info, we should too.

I support this idea.

I'm p sure its not lando since i was in a call with him like 3 or so hours ago.

I don't hijack keys, however because I do make so many mods, I can see how you would think so :/

we should be able to go into a website, and see every key accessed by our IPs

There are a billion ways this could've occurred. Have The Brighter Dark look through the server's console.log for the ip of the false person.

open it in notepad or whatever and ctrl+f your ingame name

Your id, 45675, has only ever been used by one IP address.

Possibilities:
90% - Someone with a similar name did it (or your exact name "APX" since you changed it to "Allun Pentax" today)
9.9% - You did it, then regretted it and made up this story
0.1% - Some unknown fault in the authentication system

Who's ever ip this is, you are so forgeted

Its not mine...

i support these possibilities and probabilities

badspot, will you make a way to automate this stuff for people? either by visiting a webpage and seeing which keys the visiting ip has used, or by entering an auth key or something and seeing which ips have used that key?
