Author Topic: Parents working long hours.  (Read 3252 times)

I changed the topic title, because I'm not exactly angry. I apologize for my misusage of words, but you're taking things the wrong way.

I do appreciate every bit of work my parents do for me and my siblings. My point was that I merely disliked the fact that they worked so many hours without receiving adequate pay. It's not like I want them to quit their jobs and devote all their time to me.

My parents are around too much.

It's not like I want them to quit their jobs and devote all their time to me.
right, but nonetheless if they aren't spending any time with you at all they aren't doing much better than devoting all their time to you.
if they're overworking themselves and then making their kid worry about them, then i'd say they need to kick it back a bit. how i wouldn't know, but it's definitely a topic of conversation you should bring up whenever you can.

Talking and hanging out with friends can solve the loneliness, and I know the feeling but sometimes parents have to work as much as they can in hope of living a happy, and financially-stable retirement.
