Author Topic: Prop making/DTS to BLB?  (Read 1463 times)

SkoopDaHoop and I have been modeling things for a mini-empires type deal; however, I have just now come to the realization that we don't know how to make this into a BLB (or prop) format to be placed as a brick:

Has anyone done this before that can give me some direction, besides just the BLB reference thread?

Since Milkshape can export to .obj, you are in luck. Export the model as an obj and then convert it. Recommended settings and whatnot should be in the release thread of the blb converter.

So far it seems that the model I'm trying to export has too many quads, though I'm sure some way around can be found. Thanks.

Try getting rid of some detail as I suppose the brick will be very small. You could join all the fingers together, remove the hollow bit in his boots, etc.

Well if you converted the triangles to quads maybe you could make it a brick.
