It's sad, but even my grandparents (maternal, my moms parents) are saying she should just turn herself in and do her time.
It's hard to disagree, I mean, they will provide for us while she's in there.

She's talking about how much she's always wanted to kill herself, and it's really hard for me to take her the least bit seriously.
A few nights ago she made some peas and corn, looked in the fridge, saw we had no butter, and threw the bowl of food on the floor and started crying about how much she wanted to die. It happened again when she spilled her drink. I mean, I don't want her to die obviously, but it's almost comical at this point.

My dad never missed his dad. I can see why, he was always getting drunk and while his mother was into cult stuff.

Wow, she might be in some serious trouble. This is the third time she's straight up verbally expressed some kind of want to die or commit Self Delete, and that's just the times you've told us about.

If you think it would do her some good to be in jail anyways, I really think you should call the police or something and tell them that she's contemplating Self Delete, that's not something you should just shrug off
