Author Topic: Are "diffuse intrinsic pontine glioma" and "diffuse pontine glioma" the same?  (Read 1269 times)

Original Title: Help sourcing a quote

I need help sourcing this quote. It works really well for my essay, but there's no pinpoint creator:

Quote
You never know how strong you are until being strong is the only choice you have.

Of course, it could be that the main attributing author just never came to be recognized. I've been told Cayla Mills, but I can't find any information on the individual. I'd rather only use a quote if the person can be identified. I could work with it if there isn't an identified author, but the problem is half the locations hosting this quote seem to try giving it a creator, so I can't tell if it does have one or not.

Edit: Could you say "NAME contracted cancer?" Or is there a better word. Contract seems like a viral problem from someone to another.

Edit2: As the new title says: Are "diffuse intrinsic pontine glioma" and "diffuse pontine glioma" the same? Just want to make sure before I go saying definitions. They seem to be, but who knows what implications one word could have to a meaning...

Some quotes just come from nobodies

just put "Anonymous"

nope

nobody

maybe this though

not too sure though

"It was once said, *quote*"

^ Like that? There's no pinpoint... that's sad.

Edited topic. I'm unsure of wording a sentence in relation to cancer.

I suppose you could say like "NAME was stricken with cancer" or "NAME developed cancer"

Ooh yeah, do developed.

Hmm... I'll use developed.
yeah, developed seems to be your best choice of words
contracted could be used but i wouldn't advise using it too much since it does kind of feel like you're implying a virus or something of the like
