Unable to alt-tab with BL running?

For some reason, when Blockland is running, I can alt-tab to switch back to desktop, but am then unable to alt-tab back, or alt-tab to anything. When I try, it just pops it up for about a half second then disappears before I can click on anything. Same goes for trying to switch by clicking on the icon. I've tried the 'switch to' button in taskmanager, however one of two things will happen when I try that:
Either it eternally just fights with the computer attempting to switch back to the desktop, away from BL,
Or it just crashes Blockland entirely.

I have no idea why this is happening - also, the console shows nothing out of place when I try it. Also, I've tried looking at processes while BL is running to check if it's virus-related, but nothing shows.

Are you running in fullscreen mode? If you need to switch applications often, I recommend using windowed mode.

Turn off borderless fullscreen

I assume its because similar reasons to the game lagging everyone when the host minimizes.

windows  is not all that smart with moving around the active window memory. or its trying to be far to smart, and moves it to much.
its never the amount you need when you need it.
