Again, read the post. You need to realize this thread is about legalization and how it can be a benefit if you do it correctly. Of course cons are always welcome, but reflecting on past murders not based on the proposed safety regulations is just silly. Use the state of Nevada for example, not 1800's England.
It's silly to reflect on the fact that prostitutes are a Target for crime, including murder? And my examples aren't from 1800 alone, but also the 20th and 21st centuries.
Prostitutes are a Target and street-walking will continue to exist even if brothels were legalised.
Not all prostitutes do what they do tor a regular income to live on, but use it to fund drug use. These people won't use brothels because they don't want to share profit with a business.
There's no need to legalise brothels.
