Author Topic: This will be my first full North Dakota winter  (Read 3138 times)

I'm originally from Alabama so this should be fun. This is (very close to) the coldest place in the continental US. It apparently gets down to around -30 farenheit (-34 Celsius) with a -60 windchill in the dead of winter. It's been decently chilly hovering around freezing and dropping into the teens and night, but it's starting to look legitimately cold.

I love cold but that is just TOO cold.

make some perma snowmen for us

Dude I live two hours from grand forks! We could totally meet in Fargo.

Probably might be able to see a better Aurora Borealis than I can here in the East.

(EDIT: If it ever comes out)

eat the yellow snow

Holy forget its snowing hard

I have a friend in South Dakota. Cold... getting down to 19 degrees where I live.

I was born in North Dakota. :-)

It's already that cold in ND? I'm in shock, I didn't think it was that cold there. Even in some parts of Alaska, it's still in the low-20's to the low 30's still. I think it's going to be a really cold winter season across the US this year. I love the cold weather though.

No Alaska and Canada I saw at like -17 degrees yesterday.  I'm not surprised ND is that cold.

stop lying, you live in new york

New York + Cold = Disgusting

I have no idea why I always think this, especially since the closest I've ever been to NY State was Detroit.  I've always thought of NYC as a gross city.
