Note: I am only looking for incompatibilities. This is a build for a friend and I have to work within his budget constraints. He already has a SATA hard drive that he will use until he can afford upgrades in the spring.

In the spring the planned upgrades will be an SSD/HDD combo, GPU, and a Liquid Heatsink.

You shouldn't need SATA cables.  Most motherboards and or HDD's/SSD's come with their own.  But feel free to buy them if you want to be on the safe side I can't blame you for that, I would do the same thing.

Also, Has the standard for motherboards become to not include onboard video? I can't find any with onboard video and it just seems pretty douchey since I'm working under some constraints.

Not that onboard video doesn't suck, but it is reliably sucky.

Most include video, mine I have includes an ATI Radeon HD 3000, but I put a 6570 2gb in my system.  Appears this one does not include onboard graphics.  You have a dedicated GPU though so there is no need to concern about it.
