Author Topic: my opinion on the movie gravity  (Read 3177 times)

i just wanted to start this out by saying i was told by my friend that it was the best movie hes seen in his life and he gives it a 10/10 and everyone else says it was so great and amazing so i went to see it.

i saw it and i was pretty disappointed, i expected it to be a lot better. why: the acting was not very good and pretty bland. it was also pretty boring to be honest, there was no anticipation for me, and it was pretty unrealistic. there is absolutely no way she could have survived going through the atmosphere, she would have burned up.

and, don't get me wrong the special effects were good, and the 3d and whatnot was great, but you know, what i said above.

but anyway, its one of those movies that i would watch once and then never look at, watch, or even think about ever again.

Gravity is just a theory and shouldn't be taught in schools

I'll keep this in mind next time I want to see a movie.

As true as this may be we have to tell the kids something.

"pretty unrealistic"

it's a movie, of course it's going to be unrealistic. i dont want to see a movie thats just like life. that'd be boring

Its called gravity
Takes place in space

It was pretty good for a movie that was only an hour and a half long and had only one major character.

it was a masterpiece

alfonso cuaron can do no wrong

even so she would have burned up.

those pods are made for re entry, the part you should be questioning is how she made it to the ISS over that small amount of time

gravity is in space????

I remember Neil deGrasse Tyson was bagging on it on twitter, lol

even so she would have burned up.
It's a loving Soyuz capsule. It's the only way for astronauts to get home from the ISS.

They are literally designed for entering/leaving the atmosphere.
