Author Topic: How many of you can run/ play with Shaders?  (Read 5198 times)

I always play with everything on max.
I get 90-200 FPS

I wish more of the community was running shaders, it really improves the game.

I usually play on Max with forced x16 Filtering and 32x CSAA.

at what fps?

if it's over 60, what GPU do you have

i can run minimum shaders but i don't because it's super laggy

I can play with good FPS
Am I lucky

I can play other games on highest graphics and no lag at all.
the moment i turn on shaders on blockland my computer just drops all it's framerate.

Not directed at me, but similar case I guess - I use an AMD Radeon HD 7870.

75-150 FPS depending on bricks in FOV on Max shaders with forced 24x MSAA and 16x AF.

Well, then you would vote no. Because you don't play with shaders on.
Well minimum still has the shader senabled while higher levels have shadows. You should have asked whether people can play with shadows enabled.

I can run max at 10fps (ew) and minimum at 20-25 i think never really tested it but it just feels like 20-25 fps.

I can play on max with about 120-365 fps no bricks, but when I load my city freebuild (167,330 bricks) I get about 7-20 FPS

I run minimum most of the time because I get 18-80 fps

specs are
phenom II x3, oc'd to 3.4 ghz (bottlenecking my gpu)
radeon HD 7850 1gb by HIS
g.skill sniper 8 gb 1600mhz
and an msi board

I need a new cpu

Well even with shaders at minimum has huge leaps over being off.
And most computers that can run shaders can run them at max.

Just being able to run minimum requires dedicated graphics, and laptops don't have that for the most part.

Max with 4x forced AA

22 FPS on max; 60 FPS on high

Holy stuff, my new computer can actually run shaders in realtime
