This, why we can't have a peaceful religion-related topic for once? The OP just asked the simple question if we have a religion or not, not how one religion is wrong or other religion is.

The worst part is when someone says "Oh, I'm Christian, because I believe that God can help people get through hard times" the response here isn't respectful like it should be, the response is immediately "WELL GOD ISN'T REAL AND HE DOESN'T HELP STARVING KIDS IN AFRICA GET FOOD!!!!!!"

I don't like religion honestly it's really just cultic with all of the stuff you have to do.  I suppose I could consider myself to be some form of christian, I just don't formally practice the religion if you will. (going to church, lent, etc.)
