You messaged me (on steam?) a week or two ago saying I did a good job.
Probably better than what I could do.

Still kinda pissed people paid far more attention to your save storing system than mine, before yours was even complete.
Guess that's not completly your fault though.

better visiblity

you've had a modification discussion post (only a select specific group of people actually go there)
and an add-ons thing (like no one looks here ever i've found)

i've seen it time and time again, these two spots are horrible for any kind of really good really plentiful feedback

general discussion is super popular in comparison, plenty of plenty kinds of people go there regularly (especially in comparison to others)

plus he had a pretty website setup
people like pretty websites

Wouldn't that be crossposting?

As for website design, I've been trying to learn CSS, but I'd love help!

It's not my fault at all.

Unfortunately, BVSS isn't very smart with events and ownership.. We were going to use it for Spade's Arcade this year, mainly to save some brick variables, however when testing it, we found that it failed to load about 90% of output events, all of the modter bricks had monitor prints, and bricks that players owner, that had not connected, were set to public. Its too much work to fix, so were going to use our own method to save brick variables.

When did you test it?

About 4 hours ago. I was using the latest version that has any mention of any chance that BVSS was updated.

it still takes time for RTB to verify updates

Yeah but hopefully a tiny bug like the percent one on the menu screen won't be enough to scare people away forever.

this is why you write your own updater

The downloadable file is updated instantly, but users are only notified when it's accepted.
Anyway,

this is why you write your own updater

This is how Slayer does it, and how you should do it:
> check webpage on your site for latest version
> compare with downloaded version
> if site version is different, redownload using RTB client

We had about a dozen servers posting to the BLRS server simultaniously today.
I might set up a thing that keeps track of the reccord, just for fun.

Also, apparently people who got this from RTB are finding the save uploading system, as it's started to get some use.
