I think you, and everyone else, should seriously just drop this concept of making a computer out of events and use the logic bricks mod instead or something similar.
Honestly, it would be so much easier to understand for others and can be compared to real world examples, since logic bricks are real components.
I talked to the creator a while ago and he/she said that you could theoretically replicate an 8080 Intel processor with this mod.
And with making a processor, you could write programs for them just as you would with a real microprocessor.
And the great thing is, is that the schematics are already out there; just re-create it following a logic block diagram.
Or you could design your own CPU, which is what I attempted to do on numerous occasions but failed due to lack of planning and serious determination.
Not only computers can be made, don't forget that. There's basically limitless stuff you can do with logic bricks, so don't center your clan around computers.
Again, I want to re-emphasize the point of not using events for computers; I've watched so many clans saying how they'll make computers out of events, etc.
It simply won't work, or if it does will be very custom-built and will have to be laboriously programmed for the simplest of tasks. I can't explain in technical details why because of my lack of English, but trust me, the events system is just too... limited.
A good way of putting this is and understanding what I'm trying to say is by putting the event system side by side with a program called Scratch.
The only real "computer", or rather digital appliance which used events was IcyGamma's(?) Hard drive, which read data by asking each brick how many times it was hit by a projectile. But this system relied on physical dependencies (the pong), and isn't really so much an event driven appliance (although still very impressive).
A good way of understanding logic bricks in this mod is by spending some time playing around in a program called Logisim:
