Author Topic: -noconsole bug  (Read 488 times)

I wasn't sure whether or not to post this in Help, because it's a bug. Sorry if this is the wrong section.

It seems that most of the time when launching the game with -noconsole, the icon doesn't show up. It appears on the taskbar with the generic windows executable icon.

Badspot said in a live stream that now -noconsole is fixed, he would probably use it by default on steam. If he's going to do this I really think it should be fixed.

whats -noconsole?
I always just put the console behind the Blockland window...

-noconsole probably runs the game without showing the console

and if he said it's fixed, then wouldn't it be fixed for the steam update?

It's a command line arg that does just what it says.

It works just fine for me, OP. I'm not sure what Badspot had to fix.

nonono, he said Rotondo fixed it a long time ago (it used to crash the game) and he forgot to make it default.

He should get rid of the -noConsole option and add one called -console.

yeah, that frankly seem a lot better
