The rules have been updated to address the sniping issue. You may get out of your car and snipe, but for no longer than 15-20 seconds, then you must continue the race.Essentially you can hop out to try and snipe at someone, but you cannot sit and camp, waiting for someone to come.

There should be invisible walls preventing people in different parts of the race from shooting at each other. It's really unfair that someone can stand at the halfway point and snipe and kill someone who is at the finish line.
