ERA:

The era is early industrial and the year is 1840

ABOUT:

The Mini Empires server has mainly preset islands and has a somewhat strict rule on realism. However, you may build island with permission from me or a Super Admin. This server is somewhat fantasy but not really overall. This Mini Empires has a battle system as well. It will be explained at the bottom of the page.



RULES:

1. No Housespamming. (Kick on 1st offense, 1 hour ban on second offense).

2. Be realistic. Any sudden metal houses and large armies will result in a ban. (1 Hour ban on 1st Offense, I day ban on 2nd offense).

3. No Metagaming (1st Offense 2 Hour ban, 2nd offense 2 Day ban).

4. No Powergaming. Any sudden large navy and/or army and infinite reinforcements in battles will result in an immediate ban. (1st Offense 5 Hour ban 2nd offense 3 Day ban).

5. Start as a small colony with tents. Any new empire with houses already will be deleted and you will be asked to restart. (1st Offense Empire deletion 2nd offense 1 Day ban).



Battle system:

The Battle system may be a little complicated but will be explained down here:



Infantry Battle system:

Depending on  the amount of soldiers you have in a battle, you will roll that amount. Lets say you have 12 Soldiers. You will roll a 12. If the enemies soldiers are hiding behind cover, reroll 8 to see if some are hit. The number you get is the amount of enemy soldiers you kill ONLY if they're behind something.



Cannon Battle system:

Cannons vary in types. There are normal and heavy cannons. When you use your cannons, you will use a 2x2F round for normal cannons. Then put the template on the place you want it to hit and roll a 4 to see how much bricks it misses. For heavy cannons use a 4x4F round. It is the same as a normal cannon. Roll 4 to see how much bricks it misses. You may use a strategy called Bombardment. You will target your cannons to hit one place and roll a 4 to see how much bricks it misses. Use a 6x6F round for it. If you are very close to the enemy. About 2-6 Blocks away, you do not have to roll. Just target the soldiers you want to hit



Naval Battle system:

For the amount of cannons you have facing the ship you want to target, use a template as explained in the cannon system. Then roll on a 4 sided die to see how much bricks it misses. Hitting the sails will result in the enemy ship sinking. If you are to board a ship, it is the same as infantry battle system.


Melee Combat Battle System:

When you have a melee soldier, you roll the amount of spaces you want it to move towards the enemy IF it is not infront of it. If it suceeds, you will move the Melee soldier(s) to the enemies. Then, on the amount of Melee solders you have, you roll that number to see how much suceed and kill an enemy.

In my opinion, Mini-empires servers following the context of "chat now build later" get really stale after a while. The servers that try to focus on realism don't do it very well, because the server has to be simplified to a certain extent. For example, cannons would not exist without guns; therefore, there should be guns. Most servers are ignorant of this and try to ban [portable] guns because "they're OP." Totally realistic.

The firearms complaint is directed towards servers that take place around the 1500s.

By Realistic I mean just not be large within 1 minute of empire creation and portable guns really wont be banned for obvious reasons.
