and that's better?
who want's to wait 6-10 minutes twiddling their thumbs
it'd be nice to there be a dm where everyone has 1 life but all the rounds last like 20 seconds at most
in fact someone make it
A 20 second game sounds horrendous. The action would be way too fast paced to be enjoyable, and it would get boring quickly. I think having an intermission room is a better idea, so that there's something to do while you wait for the round to end. If Slayer had a "death spawn" that players would spawn on, either regardless or with regards to their team, after they die. They would still count as dead, but they can move around and do other things. As an example, I just had the idea of adding a "Tribute Training Room" to my Hunger Games server in which players could practice their skills with weapons against either targets or other players, or perhaps read up on the different maps so that they are more prepared for the next game. Hopefully other deathmatches will have creative ideas for what players can do while they are dead, other than spectating. If this is added to Slayer, it needs very high priority.
In response to OP, I don't mind lives at all. I enjoy watching players, and sometimes I can plan my next game tactically with spectator mode. I, however, completely understand why you feel that way.
