not sure how a teacher "threatening" a student to call his home for a single missing packet is wanting that student to do better in class

though i doubt that's the actual story, sounds like he's twisting it.

Others who didnt finish their hw= the teacher doesnt do anything about it

Also i did not twist the story, my math teacher is not one that will give a second chance of all math teachers i try to tell her why she punishes me other than the dumb asses that are failing her class. "her": your did not turn in your packet! For today and for now on my teacher will call home if i dont finish my hw, and its a packet with 12 problems on systems of linear equations, graphing, substitution, and something else i dont recall the name though

I decided to do it but, the problem was such a freaking pain in the ass, and i wouldnt guess the answer because i dont want to forget up on the answer to the problem, its work i was writing down got too confusing so i gave up on it

My algebra teacher is pretty dumb in terms of checking homework. We had some graphing problems to do on our homework and she was going around stamping them for us, and she doesn't even look at your answers, she just checks if you did them. So I graphed some random bullstuff and she accepted it. Guy in front of me didn't do them and got incomplete so I'm damn glad I did it.

From my experience, math teachers simply stop checking homework once you get to a high enough level of math. My last two math teachers have worked on the principle that if you do the homework, you'll do well on the tests, and if you don't, too bad. They don't actually check to see if you did it.
