So, I've been having this idea for a while now. It's like a Mario Movie, but it's realistic, and hopefully better than the older bad one, I also accept any positive feed back, so if you have some, I'd love to hear it. It takes place on Delfino Isle, which has fallen into poverty. Luigi and Mario have lived there for about 10 years. Mario one day mysteriously left, Peach hasn't been in a good situation, and the island is in chaos.
Back-story: Luigi is just a normal business plumber, living in a crappy little apartment (paints peeling, carpets covered in stains and torn up). He barely makes enough to feed himself and pay for the apartment he's called home for so long now. Peach has lost her castle, and was forced into prostitution. The past 10 years have been a mess. The goo has been made illegal, and some have learned you can get high off of it, after a science team tested the effects on Delfinos, but the news spread, and so drug dealers sprouted up for the stuff. The city lost it's power when Bowser and his drug ring overpowered the government. The people have lost hope, and in a desperate search for his brother, Luigi must find out what happened, and get his brother back. It's Player 2's turn.
But here's where it gets twisted. I need cast ideas. This movie may not move past an Idea, but hell, a cast idea would help build a little foundation.
