Author Topic: My mouse won't reconnect.  (Read 620 times)

About two hours ago I bumped my mouse USB and now it won't reconnect. I've tried in in different USB drives and I've replaced the batteries and nothing. It's done this before but never for this long.

I can't use the touchpad, anyone got anything??

I think your mouse may have ran out of battery or malfunctioned.

He said he replaced the batteries.

Considering it's apparently done it before I'd say it's just worn out, you should get a new one.

Then your USB drivers probably bugged out. This happened to me to when I bumped a USB cord on my laptop. My USB drivers bugged out and had to re-install them.

Usually it at least detects that there's something in the USB and starts to reinstall it.

By drivers I mean the actual drivers. My USB 3.0 ports requires me to download the drivers for them from my laptop maker. Otherwise they don't work and it breaks my other only 2.0 port that should work out of the box with no extra drivers needed.

You can try disabling them through device manager than enabling them again. Or uninstalling them and rebooting.
