Hmm... I didn't test that, but I don't think so. I just Google'd "Portal Ground Texture", found some images, and made them into a ground file.

Like seriously, the only thing you really need to do is look at the pictures, and click the download button

But anyways it looks nice, I would hope it's aligned to the grid, because I would probably find a use for it
