uhhhhhhhh do you mean braces? I don't think people usually decide crooked teeth are bad enough to just remove them and give you dentures

They're actually painless but you screw up while talking more.

Retainers migh suck but there a heck of a lot better than braces.

Ugh I wish my dad didn't pay for my braces before I even got my molds. Now it's like set-in-stone that I have to get braces. Last week was painful enough, having to get spacers put in my mouth. Talk about bad timing, with Thanksgiving coming up in a few days and I probably won't even be able to chew anything.

and a lot easier to clean

bottom retainers are broken.
Broke a couple months ago.
SOOOO...
My 2nd left tooth is pushed back about 5mm from my front, and the 2 front teeth are pushing forward.
Doc says remove wisdom teef, but it costs 600 per loving tooth.
Might go into dentistry if it costs that loving much.

how do you even manage to break retainers?

I know they're flimsy as hell but unless they're anywhere but your mouth or inside a case or something, they shouldn't be breaking.
