seth macfarlane actually admitted that he wished the series could end already, and that was back when he was WORKING ON season 10. that's like 3 years ago.
Matt Groening or whats his name admitted in 2006 that he doesn't have any more ideas for episodes.

While there are a few (and I mean only a few) appropriate and funny-at-the-same-time moments in Family Guy, I just can't really watch such garbage. Spongebob is more clever than anything I have ever seen on Adult Swim (I do not watch that channel much and I don't recommend it)

There are a lot of good shows on Adult Swim. Family Guy (and it's counterparts) is a primarily Fox show.

Seth McFarlane wanted to end the show back in Season 7 because he said that no shows should last more than that many seasons.
