Author Topic: what a way to spend an afternoon.  (Read 1293 times)

so my dad bought this and since he's working he wants me to put it together
i started around noon and i am still on the first step which is building the ball diffs (not hard but time consuming because of all the little balls (hehe))

Ho stuff. 2.5 mm chassis and 8mm?
I can tell you're going to have fun with this once you're done correct? Or is it just all for collect.

yeah we're going to have fun with it

anyway i finished both diffs and installed the front one

Associated, nice. Maybe I'll one day get back into RC, but that day is not today.

looks loving fun
its alot like building a model car but with a lot more parts and screws

It costs about $350 - $370.

10x better than my afternoon you lucky bastard

Do we share the same dads? Mine tends to come home with random stuff, tosses it onto my desk, and tells me to put it together/figure out what the hell it is.

My dad bought me one of these several years back, we assembled it together and I drove it a lot.
I pulled it out of storage a few summers ago, after using it a bit the piece that holds the motor in place broke.
I never got around to seeing if I could find a replacement

Theres your part for ya. But serious, what parts missing? There may be a work around.

so yeah finished the front end
carbon fiber is really light

starting to come together

I'm actually so loving jealous right now, that looks like the coolest activity ever.
Like seriously I'd enjoy making it way more than using it
