I once went camping with my church summer camp in Wisconsin. We spent the first 3 days traveling down a river by day in canoes and setting up camp at night. Then we set a stationary camp site for 2 days and went kayaking down another river then. On the morning we packed up to head back to main camp (we arrived at the main camp, stayed the first night there, and then left for the river the next morning and went back for the last day) it was just poring down rain, so we got to pack up in rain, and then we cooked pancakes in the back of the bus. So yah, it was fun.

Never done camping that extensively, but yeah I've slept in a tent outside a few times at campgrounds at stuff.

Yea, a few times. Went fishing and slept in a tent. Also had good fish.
Yum

I have lived in Sears Bellow County park for a week. Hiking the whole week. This winter Im doing a 4 day camping trip, and in the summer I think Im camping in Rome NY for a whole week. #Civil Air Patrol

I don't think I'd wanna go camping in the winter unless it's still warm.

I locked myself outside my house for a few hours.
Does that count?

bet you werent allowed to keep any little animals you find... :(

Didn't find any. Then again, I didn't look.

i'm in boy scouts, so i have done it multiple times

Ive done 2 bivouacs in like 30 something degree F Long Island weather... Once it was raining, and I didn't have cold weather gear, and the other time it was really windy, and I had on 5 t-shirts, long johns, a thermal shirt, thick socks, winter boots, my uniform, a vest, gloves, a hat, and my heavy winter jacket lol. Im used to it.

Eagle Scout as of October of 2013, I have almost 80 days of camping logged, I've hiked and car camped, and I'm trying to go to philmont but I don't think I'll have enough money in time to go

Edit:
I've also gone to summer camp 3 years, went to a 4-day summer camp called NYLT (National Youth Leadership Training, it's supposed to be a high honor in scouting and is meant for those who show good leadership qualities), then I went a second time as a staff member and ended up being a teacher. Might go a second time and see if I can work as a teacher again or as an adult leader OR as a scribe

It's worth the money - do some fundraisers. It was one of the best things I've done.

Congrats on your Eagle rank.
