I'd like to think the race is still in a recovering stage from their stuff treatment in the past.

It's only been 50 years, we're seeing three generations of blacks after the whole 'segregation' bit. Hopefully the next generation will see some improvement in their culture as they come to realize how to properly act.

I agree with you completely, however.. Look at the Jews after they came to America and Canada 10 years after the Holocaust, they already became so successful and big. Jews have been persecuted for thousands of years and they still managed to make their way up and start over again numerous times. Look at the Italians, they came here and after about 30 years after they came, they started moving their way up. It's already been a third generation with them, and there still haven't been significant improvements. We have to encourage the country's youth even more that education is essential. After the 1st generation of Jews who came here after the Holocaust, already they were getting into Harvard and Yale.

I have absolutely no idea what your confusion with that statement is. Maybe you don't know what intelligence is? Your intelligence is not the sum of your knowledge. Your intelligence is innate capacity for learning and logic. Learning more stuff doesn't make you better at learning, it just means you learned more stuff. More intelligent people will grasp concepts more easily than less intelligent people, but learning that concept doesn't make you more intelligent.

I never said it was perfect.

Take it for whatever you want it to mean, but on average black people score an entire standard deviation lower than average for human beings. If you want to tell yourself that IQ tests don't reflect intelligence, go ahead. Again, I'm not trying to say blacks aren't as good as whites or whatever, I'm just saying the statistics point to an intelligence gap between races.

And 6% is alot for a college with an acceptance rate less than 10%

Do you really think "White and Other" is 59% because of their test scores or because of the fact  that there are 223 million white people?
18% of Yale is from other countries?

I understand your point but education statistics are not black and white and do not depend on one factor.
