Server Load
by Zapk

Description
An extremely easy to way to load saves from the server with no hassle at all.

This has been made before by McTwist a long time ago (dediload), but this is different;

  • Has optional gui that lets you load from a list of saves on the server
  • Uses non-hacky ways to load the bricks
  • RTB preferences for who's allowed to use it (host only by default)
  • Doesn't create a useless temporary file
  • Doesn't break until you rejoin if the save doesn't exist

Typing "/serverload" or "/sl" will open the Gui. Or, if you don't have the client, you can simply type "/sl ACM City".

The optional interface. Allows you to select from a list of server saves to load.

Very nice and useful. Downloading!

File size is coming shortly to the Gui.

Hold on, what does this exactly do? Sorry my brain is a toaster today.

The temp file is actually useful.
Besides, isn't this just my mod with a gui? (And no variable saving)

What?

Are you talking about your saver? Read the title.

You load a save from the server's directory.

For example, you could do "/sl autosaves/auto01".

I don't quite get what this is then?
How do you save to the server?

The saves are already on the server.

I might add a way to upload saves on the client to the server's save folder though.

So it's a little less than half of my mod?

It has nothing to do with your mod?

You make no sense. The amount of confusion from the words you say hurts my brain. It is a mod that loads bricks from the server.. Did you even read the OP? Was (dediload) not enough of a hint? Holy crap.

OT: Thank you very much, I'd honestly love to see you add an upload function.

some of the concepts in your mod are very nice but I do not want all the other crap that comes with it

it has options to enable or disable nearly all of it from what I hear
