⋆⋆ BUILDING CLAN OF THE YEAR ⋆⋆

The Clan of the Year award will be handed out to the best clan after determined by a series of tests and polls. The point of this award is to increase friendly competition between clans and also increase the motivation or production of some clans.
The Clan of the Year rewards are not responsible for any crying, depression, or lack of production.

About (in depth)

The Clan of the Year award will not be gained easily. The clan must first get put into the polls by their leader nominating them. Nomination starts 12/2/13 and ends 12/5/13. Once the clans are in, the polls will start on 12/6/13.  There will be a series of polls. Each day, one clan with the least votes gets eliminated. Once three clans are left, the semi-finals begin.
The Semi-Finals consist of a series of challenges the three clans must get through. The challenges will be critiqued by a panel of judges. The judges will not be in any clans to make sure no clan gets an upper hand. The challenges will be judged out of ten in these three aspects:

  • Quality
  • Teamwork
  • Motivation, or Rate of Production

All challenges must be complete and in a single save, and sent to me. I will then get the judges to come and make a verdict.
THE SAVE MUST HAVE OWNERSHIP SAVED
This determines the teamwork factor.
The quicker your clan turns in the challenges, completed, the higher your production rating will go. There will be a deadline, and the last clan to turn in their save will get a low productivity score.

Your clan WILL be put through a series of hard tasks, if you complain how hard the tasks are, your clan will get eliminated. This is meant to be a challenge.

Once the semi-finals conclude, there will be 2 clans left. The 2 clans will go head to head in a real time task. They will have to build on the spot a difficult task. Clans will be observed in present tense by judges (a different set, this time)
Once completed, the build will be judged on the same aspects of the semi-finals.
The clan that wins will be given the award, on the spot.
The clan will gain the right to call themselves the 'Best Clan of 2013'

Making a clan? Joining a clan? Clan rivalry? Clan chowder?

well, it depends on how you look on it

is bribery allowed

SPO will probably win because of self-pride or just plain bias, but I trust that the contest will be *fair*.

the people judging the builds will have no affiliation with SPO or any of the clans competing. I will have no say in the outcome of the judge's decision.

in the polls
every clan member is going to vote for their own clan, thats a given.
the outcome of the poll is going to depend on people not in clans.

So are you just going to eliminate every community member that is in a clan and poll the remainder through PMs? Because I can't really see how a public poll would play out without the clan members voting for their own clans.
