Whoa! Google Chrome KEEPS CRASHING.

Hey my google chrome is being an starfish. I can click on my tabs and browse normally, but typing anything into the omnibox and hitting search or enter CRASHES my browser. No matter what URL I choose to enter.

Anyone know what I can do? I have homework to do and cannot get to my online website without help. If it doesn't resolve soon I might have to get fireforgets.

I would run a check for malware or adware because it's likely that it got infected by a drive-by.

I had to switch to Firefox because apparently every time I open Chrome AVG says there's a virus in the files of chrome. Reinstalling and uninstalling never worked

google how to fix this there are several threads that tell you how to remove AVG from chrome

use firefox as main browser and use chrome for something stupid you like, "You need chrome to run this."

No no I mean the Anti Virus program itself detected a virus manifested in the Chrome files. It wasn't a problem of AVG being in Chrome. Every time I told it to remove the virus, the very next day the same notification would come up saying it detected a virus, from the same place. It stopped when chrome was uninstalled, and began again when I reinstalled it

Easy, you type something in, wait until IE decides to work, and tada primitive internet capabilities.
